• Transportable Pressure Equipment Directive (2010/35/EU), known as TPED, defines the requirements and methods for enhancing the safety of transportable pressure equipment like tanks, tank vehicles, tank containers, tank wagons, vessels, cylinders, pressurized drums, cryogenic equipment, tubes & hoses. The directive is also in accordance with transportation regulations by road (ADR) and by rail (RID) etc.
  • All such equipment must guarantee to meet the criteria according to the Directive and have a specific Pi marking (symbol π), which is similar as the CE marking.
