Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive - EMC (2014/30/EU)

Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Directive (2014/30/EU) aims to regulate electromagnetic “harmony” in electrical and electronic product market and to ensure these equipment obtaining required criteria for electromagnetic compatibility. Because almost all electric devices influence each other, the clearer purpose of this directive is to keep these side effects under control and to prevent electromagnetic emissions and disturbances.
CE certification and marking is compulsory for almost all kind of electrical and electronic equipment including television, radio, mobile phone, white goods, home & kitchen appliances and also for larger E&E installations.
